I love living here in Solihull since moving to the borough in 1999. Originally coming from inner city London, I appreciate the ‘Town in the Country’ feel.
As an adopted Silhillian, I would like to give something back to the local community that has given me and my family such a good quality of life. I hope to do that if you elect me as a councillor for St. Alphege on May 2nd. My aim is to make a positive difference to the residents and businesses who, like me, make their home in St Alphege.
Since moving here, I have seen many changes in the town… the raising of Touchwood from a grey car park to a premier shopping location, the old crumbling swimming pool turned into a leisure centre and many comings and goings on the High Street.
During this time I have become aware of the need to have a voice in the local government decision making process, to call out overspends and vanity projects from the current Tory-controlled council. I would like to be given to chance to represent you and all St Alphege residents to achieve this by voting for change in this coming May’s elections.
St. Alphege and its residents can trust me to always put the community’s best interests first. Solihull has given so much to me and my family, now I want to give something back.
Lib Dem Mark Geary can win for St Alphege ward
Your local Liberal Democrat team have a track record of beating the Conservatives in Solihull.
The Conservatives are going backwards. They are taking communities like ours for granted, ignoring local people.
Make sure your vote counts by backing local Lib Dem champion Mark Geary to beat the Conservatives in St Alphege.
